Strong marketing and brand competency – Business Leadership


Main focus for the position;

  • Provide strategic thought leadership for the local marketing team in Norway & Iceland and in conjunction with the bottler (CCEP Norway and CCEP Iceland).
  • Manage marketing plans of total brand portfolio and the integration of plans with the bottler’s local commercial strategies.
  • Set long-term brand portfolio plan and develop local annual BP.
  • Bring central IMC plans to life with locally relevant adaptations. Build scale by amplifying the plans in an efficient and dynamic way using market best practice and knowledge.
  • Manage collaboration with local agencies.
  • Manage the performance of the Franchise Marketing team with the overall responsibility to assign work that matters most to deliver the plans in full as well as ensuring development and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Franchise Marketing Team in Western Europe business Unit (WEBU) to deliver the plan as measured by revenue, profit and share.


Key responsibilities;

  • Identifying consumer insights and create winning consumer strategies that deliver against consumer and company destination. Develop local relevant annual plan building on the central WEBU marketing plan and innovation pipeline. Monitor, track and drive brand performance.
  • Bring to life through adaptation and amplification centrally produced IMC campaigns & initiatives at local level. Management of local brands and campaigns end to end.
  • Provide thought leadership and local perspective to BU on the development of central campaigns and initiatives. Be an active member of the wider brand community at WEBU level participating and contributing to the marketing community culture, knowledge and performance.
  • Exercise thought leadership in collaboration with the Bottler as a key contact to the bottler’s marketing director & sales directors to enable effective execution of the brand plans in the marketplace.
  • Lead the marketing team, develop, coach 8 direct reports. Secure effective way of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders in structured and process driven approach.
  • Manage the marketing budget driving it towards business priorities and aligning it behind central and local big bets. Adapt to P+L pressures through flexible budget management.

 
Communication complexities;

  • Ability to work with a geographically spread, culturally diverse team, stakeholders and partners.
  • Ability to align and optimise business priorities and plans with multiple stakeholders  (WEBU Marketing Directors, Finance, Business Insights, local agencies, PAC, Bottler Partner Commercial and Marketing Leadership)


Candidate profile;

  • 10-12 years of marketing & commercial experience (significant amount FMCG)
  • Brand Management at local level
  • P+L management
  • Versed in Communication / PR/ media/ Digital
  • Used to Matrix working
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • University/Advanced Degree
  • Norwegian language is a very clear advantage
